CERT Program of Kirkland, WA

The mission of the Greater Kirkland Citizen Corps Council (GKCCC) is to build a safer, more resilient community by helping to coordinate the preparedness efforts of local leaders, community groups, citizen volunteers, and the Kirkland Office of Emergency Management in responding to disasters of all kinds by harnessing the power of involved citizens.

The GKCCC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and serves as the fundraising entity for our CERT program.  

The GKCCC Board of Directors is:

  • Christina Brugman, President
  • Roland White, Vice President
  • Jennifer Mahan, Treasurer
  • Tricia Parker, Secretary

Members include representatives from each of the Kirkland Office of Emergency Management volunteer programs, including Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) / Kirkland Emergency Communications Team (KECT), and Map Your Neighborhood (MYN).
